RWS327-Table
  Table build Feb 99.
not yet.

My table is 12ft x 4ft. It is built with very straight 2x6s with cross-members 2ft on center. The frame is fastened together with 2 1/2' grabber screws. The top is 3/4 particle board and is attached with 1 5/8 grabbers.
On the back side I mounted a 2x4 to the wall and screwed three dorr hinges to it, one in the center and the others 5 ft. on either side. Each hinge is attached to the back of the table. The front side has three hinged legs so that they can fold. When lifted up against the wall and locked in place it protrudes only 7" and uses no floor space. I planned to put adjusting bolts on the bottom of each leg, but they weren't necessary. I have not had to adjust or level the table in the first year of use. "
not yet. Aligned with the front edge of the table I attaches a 2 x 2 piece of pine with grabber screws, this has been a great asset use as a straight fence to clamp against when building the fuselage and spars. on the left end I also attached a 3/4" square piece of wood, I made sure that this was exactly 90 degrees to the front of the table. I use this to line up the spars and wings while woring on them, so I am sure they are build the same. It also served as a working table to assemble a full set of hand made kitchen cabinets
drawer I added a pull out tray using drawer slides with some non-slip mat to keep the tolls from sliding around
